My Name is Cyrus (Kourosh) Droivold, born and raised in Iran. Moved to Untied state in April of 2008 with 22 years of experience in accounting. With 15 years of experience in the culinary field , I started my first job at Whole Food Market as a dishwasher, then prep cook and excelled to become a cook. I took my experience with me into an assisted living facility as a lead cook. From there I was offered to become a Culinary Director, which I love doing every day. I enjoy baking, cooking, and catering events for my residents. Within my experience I also enjoy making everything from scratch to give my residents an elegant dining experience. I never had the opportunity to say goodbye to my mother so being able to work and cook for my residents is my passion. In my spare time I enjoy family time with my children and watch movies. I love dancing and being able to please people through passionate plates.
Carol Jones
Community Relations Manager
Carol has always had a spot for the elderly because of her relationship with my grandparents and older relatives while growing up. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Computer Accountancy, and has worked in the accounting, sales and marketing industry since 2002. In 2019 she joined the healthcare sector where her dedication combined with her expertise in customer service led to the development of a passion for building and nurturing relationships, with families and their loved ones. She chose to work for Carefield is because the residents and staff feel like family. Carol mentions “The community strives to provide a home environment with top quality care that you would expect from a memory care facility”. During her spare time, she plays with her dogs in the beach, cooking, watch her favorite shows and playing the piano.
Julie Bello
Lifestyle Director
My name is Julie Bello. I’m currently the Lifestyle Director at Carefield Living memory care in Pleasanton, California. Prior to working in healthcare, I had worked in office administration as well as a marketing and research coordinator, and interfacing with sales and procurement. My career in healthcare began in 2007, working as a homecare provider to seniors in their homes and in senior living communities. My passion stemmed from providing care for my aged parents (now deceased) and the bond I share with my family. Over the last 10 years. I have enjoyed working with and connecting with seniors, putting smiles on their faces as well as enriching their lives. My rule of thumb is getting to know everyone’s history, in order to provide individualized activity to meet their needs. In 2016, I took my career to the next level by taking an Activity Professional Leadership course to acquaint myself with the industry’s policies and regulations. I find it rewarding working with the seniors, knowing that at the end of the day, I have made a difference in their lives. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, documentaries, radio talk shows and relaxing.
